How badly can a book disappoint you? Normally you should get over it by 2-3 days max. But in this case I feel scarred for life. I am not even exaggerating. Rage is all that I have inside me whenever this particular book pops up in my thoughts. Let's end the confusion. ✍️ I was super excited when I bought this book especially because the premise and the name. Currently an intern at a government hospital as well, I was very confident that this book is going to be my Bible. The author herself is a physician so I was very assured about its authenticity. ✍️ The first major turn off came in the very first chapter. The protagonist, Norah Kapadia suffered a needle prick injury and as protocol needs to take prophylaxis to avoid AIDS. It's a very common knowledge for all healthcare professionals. But our girl makes it an issue by lecturing the nurse about the adverse effects of certain drugs. Well, did you actually pass your general pharmacology exam girl? Is Post Exposure Prophylaxis

CARAVAL- STEPHANIE GARBER * Book Review* Author- Stephanie Garber Genre- Fantasy, Romance Rating- ⭐/5 Scarlett and Donatella Dragna wished for just one thing their entire lives- witnessing Caraval, the majestic circus and its mysterious ringmaster Legend. One fine day, their wish comes true and Legend himself invites them to the game. But can Tella and Scarlett manage to escape their abusive father and reach the faraway island on right time? Is it really just a game? 🎭🎭🎭 Yes. One star is all that I could spare for this book which cost me quite a fortune. I have never ever come across a more stupid and brainless plot & characters. From the very beginning, I couldn't understand why on earth is the father so abusive and cruel? Why are you so cruel to your own daughters? Thrashing them left right and centre. Killing their boyfriends by literally drowning (!). I mean, if you are sketching out a grey character atleast put some shades. And give the readers some legit reasons to h

*Book Review* *Author- Erin Morgenstern *Genre- Fantasy, Romance *Rating- ⭐⭐.5/5 The mysterious Circus of Dreams arrives at midnight without any notice and leaves likewise. It has the most majestic performers from around the world. But deep within it lies intricate magical acts that keeps it all together. Who is behind it? Is it a dream or a nightmare? I love it how every time these fantastical tales surrounding a circus try so hard to sound evasive, elusive and mysterious. To make this whole enchanting atmosphere almost to the point that you start smelling caramel popcorn in your room. The profound effect of the hype around the book on your sensations. You anticipate a major show down/ face-off/duel all throughout the 300+ pages because you have been promised so, but all you get is young people manipulating other innocent people for their *love*. Wait a sec, am I reading the same novel or Romeo & Juliet? Erin Morgenstern's greatest virtue lies in her proses and world buildin

*Book Review* *Author- M. L Rio *Genre- Murder mystery, dark academia *Rating- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Seven thespians of an elite and exclusive performing art school witness the unfolding of a real tragedy after subtle change of power amongst them. So would they face it like the gang they have always been or cracks would run deeper? 🎭🎭🎭 "𝕱𝖔𝖗 𝖘𝖔𝖒𝖊𝖔𝖓𝖊 𝖜𝖍𝖔 𝖑𝖔𝖛𝖊𝖉 𝖜𝖔𝖗𝖉𝖘 𝖆𝖘 𝖒𝖚𝖈𝖍 𝖆𝖘 𝕴 𝖉𝖎𝖉, 𝖎𝖙 𝖜𝖆𝖘 𝖆𝖒𝖆𝖟𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖍𝖔𝖜 𝖔𝖋𝖙𝖊𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖞 𝖋𝖆𝖎𝖑𝖊𝖉 𝖒𝖊." These are my exact thoughts as well after I finished reading this novel. And I wished I had read more of Shakespeare's tragedies to get a better understanding of the exchanges taking place and the importance of the characters they are playing in the act . Coming to the novel, Richard, James, Oliver, Alexander, Wren, Meredith and Filippa have been a bunch ever since they took admission at Dellecher Classical Conservatory. And a fine balance of power existed among them, in both reel and real life.
